Juliet - The Ringmaster

Juliet is the owner and manager of the Adelaide Costume Shop since 1989. After a successful dance career in Australia and Overseas and always having had a keen interest in costuming, sewing and hair and wig styling the opportunity came for Juliet to purchase the bare bones of the State Theatre Costume shop.

Having successfully created a retail division and seeing many changes in retail through the years Juliet has loved every opportunity that running a costume company has entailed.

“Many people I have met have become firm friends and I am honoured to have so many of Adelaide’s very best business and schools as my clients. I love to help every customer find the perfect outfit whether they be a fancy dress party customer, event co-coordinator,  school teacher and everyone in between.”

In her spare time Juliet loves Salsa dance, Pilates and interior design.

Sheri - Costume Creator

Sheri has over 20 years’ experience in making exquisite costumes and costume millinery and is well known in Adelaide and Australia for her work in creating costumes for Australia’s best Burlesque Professional Artists. She is extraordinarily talented and at the Adelaide Costume Shop creates new costumes and helps maintain those which need updating.

Her ability to understand the requirements of each customer is enhanced by her knowledge of the possibilities to add to or alter each costume to get just the right look.

In her spare time Sheri loves bushwalking, podcasts and spending time with her family.

Jedda - Costume Pixie

Jedda has had a diverse and long career in costuming in Adelaide for over 10 years. Her outstanding talents are in her attention to detail for every costume she puts together and her enormous knowledge in pop culture and costumes. She keeps up to date with new trends and upcoming events and co-ordinates social media.

Her ability to investigate every costume era for accurate detail and transfer that into a finished costume makes her consistently requested for costume fittings by return clients.

In her spare time Jedda loves aerial silks, motor bikes and wedding planning.

Sharon - Drama Queen

Sharon is a successful actress in Australia and overseas and has worked in Movie, TV, Stage and Media. Sharon’s passion for costumes and customer service is exceptional and she has a wealth of knowledge of period costuming and detail.

Her fun attitude sees all her customers feel happy and enthusiastic with the sometimes new experience of hiring a costume or learning new makeup techniques and she is highly respected by the theatre community in Adelaide who often come in store to utile her abilities in production management.

In her spare time Sharon likes breeding chickens and styling her mannequin instagram account @ingafashionista.
